Dialogue 海角情 is committed to partnering with secondary schools to expand curricular and co-curricular opportunities that help students develop the skills necessary for civil discourse and constructive dialogue. Through these experiences, students strengthen critical thinking, empathetic listening, openness to diverse perspectives, and the ability to engage respectfully with those who hold differing views.
In partnership with the (NUDL), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving public school students in the Metropolitan Nashville area, Dialogue Vanderbilt supports debate programming for secondary schools. Dialogue Vanderbilt Student Advisors lead workshops and facilitate debates, serving as near-peer role models who promote constructive dialogue, civic engagement, and respectful engagement across differences. Together, Dialogue Vanderbilt and NUDL create opportunities for students and educators to share best practices, foster collaboration, and strengthen dialogue education throughout the Nashville community.
